Mac Fortune
Tuesday, June 4th, 2002This is a simple Mac-like port of the U*ix “fortune” command line tool. It includes the original fortune database so there’s no lack of geeky saying for every day. Examples please? Here they are:
A tautology is a thing which is tautological.
A long memory is the most subversive idea in America
Computers are useless - they can only give you answers
-- Pablo Picasso
Fortune was designed for old 68k-Macs running MacOS 6 or later and works fine with MacOS 9.x, but is not recommended for use in the MacOS X Classic enviroment.
